Four Paths regain top spot in Clarendon Major League
MAY PEN, Clarendon — Sporting Central Academy will make a third attempt at victory today as the Clarendon FA/Captain’s Bakery Major League continues with three games.
The relegated Premier League side appears to be having a difficult time adjusting to life in the lower leagues, drawing their two first games 1-1, which has left them playing catch up in Zone C.
But, today, Sporting will travel to the cellar team, Bucknor United, who are yet to record a point in two games, which should increase their chances of earning their first win of the season.
Kick-off is set for 3:00 pm in Bucknor.
Elsewhere, defending champions Jamalco FC will hunt a fourth successive win away to newcomers Savannah FC, while York Town host Comfort FC at the York Town Community Centre.
Meanwhile, Four Paths FC replaced Kemps Hill at the top of Zone One, following 2-1 win over Black Stars at the weekend. The former champions now have seven points from three games, one more than Kemps Hill, while Black Stars are still without a point.
New Bowens, also a former champion, moved to within three points of Zone B leaders Jamalco (nine) after clipping Treadlight FC 2-1, while Moores United and Wood Hall ended 0-0.
