MOVEMENTS – Chilitos
The next stop in Movements was the Mexican restaurant on 63 Old Hope Road. Unlike my earlier trips, there is very little to say about my experience at Chilitos. But, I suppose bad experiences are a part of life, right?
I feel a dash of disappointment because the place did not turn out to be as I expected, and did not look like what I saw on their social media pages. The entire feel of the place was off and the customer service could have been better.
The menu was a tad confusing, so in the end, I finally settled for nachos and a cheese dip.
I believe the space on a whole is lovely, depends on your personal preference, it has this ‘grandmother’s backyard’ kind of vibe. The place could do with some maintenance though.
Regardless, I tried to make the best of the experience, even with my stomach ache.
Chilitos might not be the place you want to go and hang with your friends. Maybe we caught them on a bad day. However, it may still a nice lunch spot for your parents or just for a general family brunch. The prices are quite reasonable, depending on your meal choice. Even though my experience wasn’t grand, that was just me, so if you’re interested, I would encourage you to go.
Continue to trod with me, as I share my experiences on my different movements. Next week, I will be somewhere else, maybe another restaurant, maybe a resort, anything is possible, so stay tuned.
