PNP candidates go to church
KINGSTON, Jamaica – According to a release from the People’s National Party (PNP) every candidate for the February 25 general elections will be attending church on Saturday or Sunday over next weekend to renew their vows of service to the people of Jamaica and that the election will be peaceful.
“We call on all in (Jamaican) society to help us ensure it is peaceful. It is an election campaign, but Jamaica comes first.
“All PNP candidates will be attending church services in their constituencies this Saturday and Sunday. This is in keeping with the thrust to a peaceful election. There is no better place that we can go to ask for guidance,” PNP campaign spokesperson Delano Franklyn said in the statement.
