Sandals hails Loop’s professionalism
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Sandals Resorts International has expressed appreciation to Loop for what the resort chain described as its “swift and professional” response to a reporting error relating to the Michael Misick trial in the Turks and Caicos Island.
Loop’s report of the prosecutor’s opening statement made it appear that Sandals Resorts was on trial.
Loop, after being contacted, immediately made a correction and ran an apology on the website.
“We recognise that it was a genuine error and we appreciate the fact that Loop approached the matter in the most professional way,” said Sandals Chairman Gordon ‘Butch’ Stewart.
