#DecisionJa2016: Bunting not complacent, relying on past performance
MANCHESTER, Jamaica — The mood and number of supporters for incumbent candidate for Central Manchester, Peter Bunting, was noticeably higher than his competitor Dr St Aubyn Bartlett, who was nominated earlier.
He arrived at the nomination centre at the Electoral Office in Mandeville minutes before 12:00 pm. His wife Anushca acted as his agent as he undertook the process.
Bunting gave OBSERVER ONLINE the assurance that his “track record of performance” will speak for him.
However, he was adamant that he would not be complacent, as he seeks his third term as member of parliament for the constituency.
“I will not be complacent even if I think I am leading by far. I am not taking anything for granted,” he said.
