Archie comics coming to TV
Remember Archie Comics? (Well of course you do!) Get excited: an adaptation of the beloved comic series will be coming to television!
We don’t have the deets on just when, since all the characters have yet to be casted and filming is yet to begin. But we do know the show is set to be titled Riverdale (after the town in the comics). And Cole Sprouse (you’ll remember him as Cody from
The Suite Life Of Zack and Cody) is set to play Jughead, while Lili Reinhart will play Betty.
There are plans to revamp the stories and give the show a modern, edgy feel. So don’t expect the episodes to play out exactly like the comic issues you’d pick up at the pharmacy or bookstore.
