PCL Update: Red Force require 62 runs to defeat Scorpions
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Trinidad & Tobago Red Force need only 62 runs with all of nine wickets in hand to beat Jamaica Scorpions on Monday’s fourth and final day of the WICB Professional Cricket League match at Sabina Park.
When play ended on Sunday, the Red Force were 113-1 chasing 175 runs for victory after they had bowled out the Scorpions for 155 in their second innings.
Trinidad & Tobago’s off-spinner Jon-Russ Jaggesar was outstanding in taking 8-58.
In their run-chase, the Red Force have been guided by left-handed opener Evin Lewis, who is unbeaten on a fluent 66. Kyle Hope is on 14 not out.
Scores: Scorpions 225 & 155; Red Force 206 & 113-1.
