#DecisionJa2016: I am not switching, declares JLP support
MANDEVILLE, Manchester — For Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) supporter Hixroy Morgan, this election may be the last time that he is voting in a general election here.
He told Observer ONLINE that he believes that the party is too relaxed in its campaigning in the constituency, but he would rather not to vote than to switch support to the People’s National Party.
“Dem nuh lively, dem dull,” Morgan said of the JLP campaign, as he waited in line to vote at the Richmond Primary School in Central Manchester.
He said that he does not pay keen attention to the plans put forward by the political parties because he views them as mere promises.
“If better fi come, it ie come,” said Morgan, adding that “we a nuh alien suh we just exercise we rights.”
