Rootz Revealerz band kicks off Skylark tour
The Rootz Revealerz band are scheduled to kick off promotion of their new EP, Skylark, this week in Europe.
The quartet is the opening act for revered roots reggae group The Abyssinians on a month-long tour of the continent, which starts today in Alzette, Luxembourg.
Skylark was released in February. It has eight songs, including the title track, a reggae cover of the 1941 jazz standardSkylark.
Other songs from the mini set are the previously released She Pray and Rudeboy. There is also Bed of Roses, featuring The Abyssinians.
The tour will see The Abyssinians and Rootz Revealerz also performing in France, Belgium, The Netherlands, and Reunion Island.
Rootz Revealerz includes the Manning brothers: Judia (bass), Prince (drums) and Andrew (keyboards). Vocalist and co-founder Chris Mundahl completes the line-up.
