Cubana Airlines to fly from eastern tourist town to Santo Domingo

HAVANA, Cuba (CMC) – The official airline of Cuba – Cubana Airlines — will start direct flights from the Frank Pais International Airport, located to the east of here, to Santo Domingo, in the neighbouring Dominican Republic.

Cubana Company officials announced that the inaugural flight, on March 22, will add to the usual operations of Cubana de Aviacion from the airport in the town of Holguin, located in one of the most important destinations due to its tourist attractions.

The airline will depart weekly on Tuesdays to the Las Americas International Airport in the Dominican Republic.

Founded in 1929, Cubana Airlines flies to various destinations in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
