Man to be questioned after cops seize shotgun

CLARENDON, Jamaica — The police yesterday arrested a man in Freetown, Clarendon, following the seizure of a homemade shotgun and one 12-gauge cartridge.

The police have not released his name but said arrangements are now being made for him to be interviewed in the presence of his attorney, with a view of laying charges.

According to reports from the May Pen police, the weapon and ammunition were found about 7:00 pm, during a search of premises in the River Lane community.
