Rihanna’s new video keeps you needing more
Rihanna’s controversial track Needed Me video was released yesterday at 12 noon. The track seems to be booming as it holds down a spot on the Bill Board Hot 100 Chart. The video, as it happens, is directed by Harmony Korine, and follows up onB***h Better Have My Money. Therefore, the viewers are in for quite a show. The video lasts for thirteen minutes and fourteen seconds creating the perfect sauce for controversy.
The sequence of events in the video are revealed through flashbacks. At the beginning of the video, Rihanna is seen with a fun walking modestly smearing the glasses of the doors. We then see an exotic club which is juxtaposed with the calm ocean seen at the beginning. Blowing puffs of smoke, Rihanna goes to Harlem, supposedly, masked on a bike, where she collected her barrel.
Of course, being Rihanna, she presented herself at the the club. Dressed racily, she goes through the doors caressing the gun with her face. She steps in and sees the Kartell barred by exotic dancers. Seeing her, he throws the money, her obscuring her face. Calculatedly, Rihanna fires the gun killing him. Her actions this reflected the lyrics “didn’t they tell you that I was savage… had some fun on the road now I give to you.. Baby you needed me.”
The video ends with Rihanna staring at the ocean with the same gun in her hand, creating the perfect scenery that was once there before. After watching the video, you will be definitely needing more of Rihanna.
