ONLINE READERS COMMENT: Everybody’s diagnosing the PNP, what about Holness?
Dear Editor,
The country is on auto pilot, people are dying left, right and centre, every day four or more of our teenage girls are reported missing, and Jamaicans need to give Andrew Holness more time, and admire his portfolio of him gathering “selfies” and various photos for his upcoming interview to be man-of-the-year on the covers of GQ.
Not to mention all the broken promises made by the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP).
But according to his supporters, Jamaicans must not talk about that. Unlike every other leader before him, this one must not be questioned or criticised. Nope! he should sit and do as he pleases, because after all, he is young, fresh and green and should not be touched.
All of a sudden the JLP has won the election, and instead of holding them accountable, suddenly everybody is an expert on what is wrong with the Peoples National Party (PNP).
Cries of Portia must go, this one tweeting, that one tweeting, is the talk of the town.
Does not matter that explosives used in Syria or Iraq are being found in Jamaica.
Does not matter that JLP ministers are yet to be served with letters outlining their job description.
Does not matter that PATH benefits have been cut.
Does not matter that the new minister of information is lacking in information.
Does not matter that many school principals and teachers are crying out for justice.
The new world order is let us all diagnose the PNP, and let very thing else go to hell.
Yep, some of these Jamaicans are really a special kind of stupid.
