14-y-o Ardenne student drowns at YMCA
ST ANDREW, Jamaica — Jevaughn Brown, a 14-year-old third-form student of Ardenne High School, died while swimming at the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) in St Andrew, yesterday.
Reports from the Half-Way-Tree police are that about 5:15 pm, a lifeguard was alerted to a shadow in the pool.
Upon investigation, Jevaughn was reportedly seen at the bottom of the pool.
He was subsequently taken from the water and rushed to the hospital where he died while being resuscitated.
