Hugh English appeals to ‘fools’
Guns In The Hands of Fools is the new song from roots singer Hugh English. It is the follow-up to his well-received cover of The Beatles’ Hey Jude.
The remixed version of Guns In The Hands of Fools is produced by Mightyful13 Records and distributed by VPAL. Written by English, it was originally released in 2012 but got little traction.
It hears the Trench Town-based English appealing to inner-city youth to put away their illegal arms.
“Long time mi tell di youth dem inna our community sey di gun thing not going work, but most a dem don’t listen,” said English.
Released in late 2014, Hey Jude was the breakthrough single for the dreadlocked vocalist who has been recording for over 15 years. The song fared well in South Florida.
