Bail extended for Lisa Hyper
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Bail was extended for dancehall artiste Lisa Hyper, whose given name is Felicia Gooden, when she appeared in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Tuesday.
The Soul Cry singer is facing multiple charges, including the use of indecent language, disorderly conduct and the use of abusive and threatening language. The charges stem from an incident at the Norman Manley International Airport in February last year which led to her arrest.
Reports are that the entertainer allegedly assaulted an employee inside the airport during an argument. She also reportedly used abusive language and cursed at police officers and airport staff while appearing live on her TikTok account.

The dancehall artiste was reportedly suffering from mental health challenges at the time.
The matter was postponed on Tuesday due to an outstanding medical report.
“I need to ensure that the next date something actually happens and there is no repeat of what happened today. It’s been a year and the case has to move,” said Parish Judge Ruth-Ann Robinson.
The case was first mentioned on February 25, 2025.
The Bill singer is scheduled to return to court on May 8, 2026.
