AW FAshion: Factor in Hats
St Patrick’s Foundation chair Hermine Metcalfe’s tri-coloured wide-brimmed hat was, as she described it, a “regal gift from a friend”. (Collin Reid)

AW FAshion: Factor in Hats

Last Saturday afternoon, the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Commission hosted its second annual Diamond Mile race day at the infield at the Caymanas Track. Now, wherever in the world you may find yourself, a universally accepted fact is that hats, fascinators and a stylish ensemble are as much a part of any horse-racing event as the horses on the track (think: Ascot, Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic and the Kentucky Derby). Don’t get us wrong, we love the horses and the spirit of betting big and cashing out as much as the next person, but a head-turning fascinator or an über-dramatic hat is enough to leave your All Woman Fashion stylistas in awe. Local designers and milliners were the go-to source of several of the ladies’ ensembles. All Woman Fashion reminds you why stepping out in style is always in fashion.
