Police hotline set up for fugitive accused in US missionaries’ murder
ST MARY, Jamaica — The police have established a telephone hotline for people desirous of sharing information that can assist with the recapturing of Dwight Henry, who escaped from a hospital in St Mary on Wednesday.
Interested individuals are encouraged to call 994-2452, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
Henry is now listed as ‘wanted’ for the murders of US missionaries Randy Hentzel, 48, and Harold Nichols, 53.
He was named as a person of interest in the April 2016 murders and was arrested in St Mary on June 24, 2016.
He was charged, along with Andre Thomas of Port Maria, in connection with the crime.
The two missionaries were reportedly last seen alive when they left Tower Isle on motorcycles about 8:00 am on April 30. Reports from the St Mary police were that the two men rented motorcycles in Ocho Rios, St Ann, and went on a trail in the Albion Mountain area. Their bodies were later found in Wentworth district.
