Lascivious, lusty libido

Lascivious, lusty libido

In kissing, do you render or receive?

The kiss you take

Is better than you give.

— Shakespeare,Troilus and Cressida IV, 5

In other words, the person receiving the kiss feels more pleasure than the one giving it. So, it’s actually better to receive than to give in this case. But whoever feels more pleasure, the fact is, kissing is a great experience and, interestingly enough, even some animals kiss too as they express affection to each other.

But a kiss can be dangerous, for more often than not it leads to something deeper, more passionate, more… well, let’s stop right there for now. No, no, no, let’s not stop there, let’s take it further, for heavy kissing is usually an indication of desire, of lust, of lascivious behaviour, and is an indicator that the participants have a hearty and vibrant libido.

Of course, all this comes in degrees, and most people attempt to exercise a modicum of control. After all, we can’t just kiss and carry on with whomever and whenever the feeling overcomes us. But the truth is, we all are secret slaves to lascivious, lusty libido, and we’ll expose the naked truth on that topic, right after these responses to ‘Triggers for infidelity’.

Hey Teerob,

Your article on infidelity really touched a nerve in my head. The fact is, as you pointed out, infidelity is not only physical but also emotional. My wife is having an affair with her cellphone. Yes, Samsung Galaxy is her man. It’s the first thing that she touches in the morning and the last thing that she touches at night. Lord knows how much time they spend together in the day, bathroom time included. And she carries on right before my face too. What an affair they are having.

Kirk J.

Hi Tony,

Most women cheat for emotional reasons and are cunning, conniving and cautious, while most men cheat for physical, or should I say lack of physical reasons. Men are physical creatures who think with the head that’s between their legs, and will cheat at the easiest opportunity while throwing caution to the wind.

Kristian

A young lady, who begged me not to reveal her name, wrote me a very impassioned e-mail, titled, ‘Willy rides up front. In essence, she lamented the fact that men made decisions with their smaller heads, then end up regretting their actions. They also ignore the advice that their bigger heads give them and often end up paying an enormous price.

And she is perfectly right too, for so many men have followed the impulses of their lascivious, lusty libido and got led down the garden path into dangerous situations…. by their penis. Oh yes, that organ has caused men more problems that their brains have. “Don’t blame me, blame my penis.” How can something so relatively small cause so many big crosses? Willy rides up front.

But in the same way that Willy gets men in trouble, Wanda also gets women in hot water too. Much to my shock and dismay, I saw a video posted online by this young lady who was lamenting that her Wanda…er vagina, had caused her more trouble than any demons from Pandora’s box could.

She cried that because of it her life has been nothing but heartache, misery, crosses and tribulation. “I wish to God I could cut it out and dash it away,” she wailed. I never saw anything like that before, but it fortified my belief that people are lascivious, lusty, leering, and living for their loins. Some welcome it, others lament it.

The entire existence of mankind is based on the pursuit of p.m p.m, or the collection of cockerels. We all know what roosters do. Men chase women and women subtly seduce men, letting the men think that it’s really they who are chasing them. All this is due to lascivious, lusty libido, the most powerful force on Earth. People will kill for it and people will die for it. Even kings have abdicated their thrones for it.

This lusty behaviour ranges from casual dating, heavy petting, seducing, telling lies to get it, offering it up as a bargaining chip or for a price, buying it, to hold down and take by force. Everyone is into it, from schoolgirls and schoolboys to married men and mistresses, parsons and pickney, teachers and students, to old men and young girls. All are ruled by lascivious, lusty, leering, lion-sized libido. Did you know that lions will mate for 48 hours straight? So I guess many folks try to emulate that.

But we are all ruled by our loins, the only difference in some of us is the fact that many people can suppress it, while others are slaves to it Some men are so driven that they are said to suffer from sex addiction, while there are women who are always turned on but, unfortunately, are given unflattering names.

In the old days they used to give sailors who took long sea voyages saltpetre to suppress their libido. Seafaring folklore has it that some ships had a barrel with a small hole in it where sailors could go and release their sexual urges six times per week. On the seventh day they couldn’t go, for it was their turn to be in the barrel. Hence the term, ‘Your turn in the barrel,’ which means your turn to get what you’ve been giving all along. So I get it, so I give it.

To date I don’t know what they give women to suppress this lusty desire. Rumour has it that it’s a wedding ring, based on what my friends tell me.

Here in Jamaica the folklore says that too much sour orange would cut a man’s nature. I’ll always remember that line from Trevor Rhone’s hit play and movie,

Smile

Orange, when the guy refused to eat sour orange, citing that, “No sah, too much sowa orange will cut me nature, sar.”

Well, no one here wants their nature cut and, in fact, the opposite is taking place, as the emphasis is on liberating, lusty, lascivious, libidinous living. People are berating those men who prey on young girls, and rightly so. But I was surprised to hear a woman point out that no one has done a study to see why so many young girls are willingly cohabiting with these men as they, too, live lascivious, lusty, libidinous lives. Why are so many young girls horny all the time?

Granted, some are taken advantage of with a promise of a box lunch or taxi fare, but others do not need any such rewards. Many times it’s difficult to tell who is the hunter and who is the hunted. I know of what I speak, for I have had my fair share of young girls making advances towards me, but I know better. As my wife always reminds me, at 6′ 4” and 210 pounds I should understand why females will rush me. Still, there are many men who rise, or should I say, sink to the occasion and take the bait.

Much to my shock and dismay again, I saw where a prominent journalist here admitted that if the age of consent was lowered to age 15 he would be more than happy. A shocking revelation yes, and my knee-jerk reaction was to cuss him, for I think that he’s ill. But at least he had the gonads to be honest and admit his true feelings. Some men preach against it on pulpit and we all see what they do.But then again, there is 15 and there is 15. There are some 15-year-old girls who are more than force-ripe and could pass for big women, fooling even the most observant persons. It’s only when they are seen in school uniform that people may say, “But see my trial, is a schoolgirl fi true. Nuh she me see at dance last night?” Lascivious, lusty libido has found new life in liberated lasses. It’s difficult being a slave to lascivious, lusty libido, as it’s like being around KFC — smelling it and not being able to take a taste. But appetites can be controlled.

It’s difficult being a slave to lascivious, lusty libido, as it’s like being around KFC — smelling it and not being able to take a taste. But appetites can be controlled.

This has got so many people in trouble. Some give the excuse that they can’t control themselves and are slaves to their libidinous loins. Others just don’t care and dive into the cauldron of carnal cornucopia. “I just can’t help myself, I simply have to have it all the time.”

Is it a gift that we were bestowed with, or a curse that will lead to our destruction? So many have killed for it, so many have died for it, so many have lost everything for it. No wonder some organisations say that it should be put on the back burner and be only for procreation.

Good luck with that one. Finally, look what happened to those priests who took vows of celibacy. Even they couldn’t control their lascivious, lusty libido.

More time.

Footnote: Movies, theatre and drama are still my love. Recently I saw Basil Dawkins’ new romantic comedy,Four Can’t Play and enjoyed it thoroughly. This drama was right up my street, as it explored the same themes that I always write about — married couples, separation, love, lust, infidelity and confusion. Life does imitate art, they say. Plus, when you have our national treasure, Oliver Samuels in the mix it’s bound to be compelling. Our theatre is so rich and vibrant, from Shebada to Volier, to Glen to Leonie, our actors continue to entertain us. Blessed are the artistes, writers and others who contribute to our wonderful theatre fare.
