Lack of electricity stalls Peter Abrahams’ murder case
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Norman Tomlinson, 61, the man charged with the murder of veteran journalist Peter Abraham is scheduled to appear in court on March 7, after the matter was this morning rescheduled due to the absence of electricity at the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court.
The lack of electricity has resulted in other persons in custody not being brought before the court.
Abrahams was found dead at his home in Red Hills, St Andrew on Wednesday, January 18. Following a post mortem examination, it was revealed that the injuries that Abrahams received were deliberately inflicted.
Investigations by the detectives led to the arrest of Tomlinson, who was charged following a question and answer session at the Constant Spring Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB).
