Catherine’s Peak donates $523,968 from water sales to Sigma Run Fund
A total of five hundred and twenty three thousand nine hundred and sixty eight thousand dollars ($523,968) has been donated by Peak Bottling Company Limited “dollar donation” initiative to the beneficiaries of Sigma Run. In November 2016, Sagicor Foundation and Peak Bottling Company Limited, producers of Catherine’s Peak announced a partnership to help raise funds toward the JMD$60 Million target for the 2017 Sagicor Sigma Corporate Run. For every 500 ml bottle of Catherine’s Peak sold, one dollar of the proceeds went to the Sigma Run.
Kadia Wright, Group Brand Marketing Manager, Peak Bottling Company Limited said her company was excited about this new element of the partnership as Catherine’s Peak continues to be one of the longest standing partners of the charity run. “The Dollar for Charity campaign added a new layer to the partnership with Sigma Run and we are happy that our loyal customers also supported this cause,” said Wright. “We look forward to strengthening this collaboration for other stagings to come.”
Catherine’s Peak has been a sponsor of the Sagicor Sigma Corporate run since inception, providing product sponsorship to rehydrate runners, as well as for the various corporate teams inside Emancipation Park on race day.
Along with the Recycling Partners of Jamaica, Catherine’s Peak also spearheaded the recycling and clean up efforts on race day.
