Holland High hunt third win in ISSA schoolgirls’ basketball
MONTEGO BAY, St James — Holland High will go for three straight wins tomorrow when they take on Montego Bay High School in the first game of an Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association Western Conference Schoolgirls’ basketball competition double-header at Mt Alvernia High.
Holland High are coming off a big 21-12 win over Mt Alvernia High, who will seek to rebound tomorrow when they host defending champions Rhodes Hall in the second game.
Also Friday, Muschett High will host William Knibb Memorial.
On Tuesday at Muschett High, Holland High outscored Mt Alvernia High as Kimone Thompson scored five points and had four rebounds, and Shanniele Johnson scored four points and had 15 rebounds and six steals.
Holland led 4-2, 13-4, and 19-7 at the end of the first three quarters.
Muschett High were also winners after beating Montego Bay High 33-4, as Rockel Mason scored 12 points, while Peter-Ann Headley scored six points and had 30 rebounds and nine steals.
