Sayeed, Lantern for Mas Camp tonight
FOR a second consecutive year, top soca selectors Ryan Sayeed and DJ Lantern MD are slated to entertain soca fans at Mas Camp in St Andrew.
A Caribbean fave, DJ Lantern is promising a memorable experience tonight.
“This Friday Mas Camp patrons can expect a night of non-stop high energy soca music in true Bacchanal style. It will include a vibrant mix of the new hits for the 2017 Carnival season alongside some of the older favourites,” he told Splash.
The Florida-based, Trinidadian-born Sayeed is the resident DJ at Big Phat Fish in Miami.
He describes himself as “jusa guy who loves to play music”.
Nicholas Franklin, a director of Bacchanal Jamaica, said he’s pleased with last week’s opening night and expects to keep the momentum.
“We were very pleased with the massive turnout for our first Bachannal Friday for the 2017 carnival season and intend to keep the vibes high by creating a variety of experiences every week. We are very happy with the way our sponsors have embraced the Carnival spirit and have put a great deal of glitz and glamour in their presentations at Mas Camp,” he said.
