Scorpions stretch lead to 119 runs versus Jaguars
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica Scorpions progressed to a second-innings score of 126-4 at lunch on day three to hold a lead of 119 runs in the Digicel Regional four-day cricket match against Guyana Jaguars at Sabina Park on Sunday.
Brandon King and Devon Thomas are the not-out batsmen on 19 and 18, respectively.
Jermaine Blackwood is the Scorpions’ top-scorer so far with 37.
The Jaguars left-arm finger spinner Veerasammy Permaul has figures of 2-21.
On Friday’s opening day, the Scorpions were bowled out for 255 in their first innings, while the Jaguars responded with 262.
