ScopeMR hits out at haters
On-the-rise deejay ScopeMR is hitting out against the haters in his latest dancehall-hip hop fused track, Nuh Want Mi Rich.
“The song is about people not wanting me to progress in life and also overcoming these challenges,” he told the Jamaica Observer yesterday.
Released in November 2016, Nuh Want Mi Rich is produced on the Starr Fraternity imprint. The track is available digitally.
ScopeMR said he penned the track from a personal experience and he’s pleased with its reception.
“The feedback has been great so far because a lot of people can relate to being held back from reach the goals and overcoming the challenges they faced,” he said.
A video to accompany Nuh Want Mi Rich is slated to premiere in the next few months.
“The ladies, especially have been requesting a video for this song and I cannot disappoint my fans,” he said.
ScopeMR (real name Marlon Hutchinson) hails from Andrew Hill in Clarendon. However, he migrated to Florida at 12 years old.
His other tracks include Remember The Time, Lead Dat, and Come Ova.
