Gas prices up $6.16, diesel up $7.28
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline and an increase in the price of diesel, effective Thursday, March 16, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $104.20 and $105.86 per litre, respectively, up by $6.16 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $103.73 per litre following an increase of $7.28, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is up by $2.75, and will be sold for $107.30 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene decreased in price by $0.41 and will be sold for $87.30 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $43.07 per litre, up by $5.64 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $48.09 per litre after an increase of $4.62.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
