Nicholas McKoy, general manager of Chad-Ad Distributors Ltd, said he’s pleased to have been part of the REVOLUTION auto show held at ATL Automotive’s Oxford Road facility in New Kingston last weekend.

“Overall, the show was well executed; it was well advertised and we saw a lot of the visitors to the show visiting our booths. We did get some good responses. Even this week, a lot of the commitments we got on the weekend have come through. A lot of the people visited us since the show. So we’re happy with the turnout we have got,” McKoy told Jamaica Observer’s Auto magazine.

We were part of the last ADA (Automobile Dealers’ Association of Jamaica) show up on the mezzanine at the National Arena (in 2014). We did get some good responses then for that show. However, we would have been back on board if the ADA had kept their original show this year. But the ADA didn’t include us in the whole AutoCircuit plan that they had with their dealers. So we were happy that ATL had invited us to come on board so we could be part of the automotive industry’s weekend.”

Chad-Ad Distributors are local suppliers of Maxxis tyres as well as batteries and lubricants.

“We stock a wide range of tyres for all applications… industrial vehicles, tractors, trailers, cars, you name it,” he said.

Other tyre brands sold include Torque, Sumitomo and Falken.

Started in 1997, Chad-Ad Distributors Limited has an outlet at Newport West and another on Marcus Garvey Drive in Kingston.

“Maxxis tyres outperform the other brands on all fronts… consistency, durability, performance, and competitive prices,” McKoy added.
