No injuries in latest JUTC bus fire
KINGSTON, Jamaica – A Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) bus caught fire this morning on Dunrobin Avenue.
Reports are that the bus driver was alerted to fire coming from the rear of the bus while driving about 10:00 am.The driver reportedly pulled off the road, evacuated all passengers and used a fire extinguisher to put out the blaze.The Half-Way-Tree Fire Department responded to a call approximately 10:18 am, according to District Officer Christopher Marsh.When they arrived the blaze was already extinguished.No injuries were reported.Racquel Porter
