Bugle Europe-bound
Bugle is scheduled to kick off his first European tour in two years next week with dates in Germany, France, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Finland.
He will be promoting
Be Yourself, his second album, which was released in January. His first show is down for Hamburg, Germany’s second-largest city, on June 2.While in Germany, the Portland-born artiste will also do shows in Berlin, Hannover and Munich. His last show on the tour is scheduled for Club India House in Helsinki, the Finnish capital.Following the European dates, Bugle heads to Japan in July for two weeks of shows and promotional events. He next heads to the United Kingdom and the European mainland for club gigs and festivals, including Reeds in Switzerland and Rototom Sunsplash in Benicassim, Spain.The 15-song Be Yourself contains a remix of Rasta Party. The original version was a hit in reggae circles last year throughout Europe and ethnic markets in the United States.Be Yourself was released by Empire Records, the California independent label that distributed Strictly Roots, Morgan Heritage’s album that won the Best Reggae Album award at the 2016 Grammy Awards.Bugle’s first album,
Anointed, was released in 2014.
