Jamaica 55 Diaspora Conference 2017 was launched with church services on the weekend. The first, on Saturday, was at Andrews Memorial Seventh-day Adventist Church on Hope Road in Kingston. Yesterday’s was at Providence Methodist Church, also on Hope Road, where Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Kamina Johnson-Smith (left), Jamaica’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom George Ramocan and his wife Lola Ramocan were seen singing along to a hymn. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is spearheading the biennial conference, which runs until Thursday, July 27.
