Two wards of the State reported missing
ST JAMES, Jamaica – Two wards of the State have been reported missing from the Garland Hall Memorial Home in St James since Friday.
They are 15-year-old Amoy Gammon and 14-year-old Ashley Henry.
Gammon is said to be of brown complexion, medium build and is about 170 centimetres (5 feet 7 inches) tall, while Henry is of dark complexion, slim build and is about 152 centimetres (5 feet) tall.
Reports from the Anchovy police are that both girls were last seen at the facility about 6:00 am. The police reports did not say whether or not the girls were in the company of each other when they disappeared.
Amoy was dressed in a white blouse, a white skirt and a pair of black slippers, while Henry was dressed in a blouse, jeans and a pair of white sneakers.
All efforts to contact the two have proven futile.
Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Gammon and Henry is being asked to contact the Anchovy police at 956-4100, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
