Quarter-miler Riker Hylton to know fate Thursday
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Independent Anti-Doping Disciplinary Panel has decided to push the hearing of the decision in the case of Riker Hylton versus the Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission (JADCO) to Thursday.
The announcement was made a short while ago by the panel which convened at the Courtleigh Auditorium in Kingston.
The hearing will be at 9:30 am at a venue to be announced later.
Hylton, a 400 metre relay bronze medallist at the 2011 World Championships in Daegu, South Korea, and a semi-finalist in the individual 400m at that same championships, is accused of evading or refusing to submit his sample to the Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission for tests some time last year.
The runner faces a maximum ban of four years if found guilty.
