Beverley Hills Drive closed for roadwork — NWA

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The National Works Agency (NWA) says it will be closing a section of Beverley Hills Drive in St Andrew for three days starting tomorrow, to October 17 in order to carry out road improvement works between Shenstone Drive and Hopedale Avenue.

According to NWA Communications and Customer Service Manager Stephen Shaw, the roadway will be closed from 8:00 am tomorrow and will be reopened at 6:00 am on Tuesday, October 17.

The agency added that the corridor will also be closed between the hours of 10:00 am and 3:00 pm from Tuesday, October 17 to Friday, October 20.

Shaw explained that sections of Beverley Hills Drive are being widened, while Avesbury Avenue, Hopedale Avenue and Glenview Terrace are being upgraded under the current works valued at $40 million.

During the periods of closure motorists can access Beverley Hills Drive via Munroe Road, the NWA said.
