Portmore police find gun in old television

ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — A firearm was found in an old television by detectives on special operations early this morning in the Hardware Lane area of Portmore, St Catherine.

No one was taken into custody for the find.

Reports from the Portmore police are that during the search of premises between 4:00 am and 6:00 am, a .38 Smith and Wesson revolver was found inside the television.

Police say investigations are ongoing.
