Weather Update: Rain expected from today into the weekend

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Periods of showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected across most parishes this morning and afternoon, according to the Meteorological Service of Jamaica.

This is due to a trough across Jamaica and a cold front across the western Caribbean.

The cold front is expected to stall west of the island and continue to produce occasional showers across the island into the weekend.
