SIX winners from three rounds, two wild cards and two random patrons, will compete for $250,000 cash at the grand finale of the Campari Pop Style event. It takes place this tomorrow at the Waterfront in downtown Kingston.

Campari Pop Style is a multiple-stop party series where Campari rewards the most stylish attendees. Hosted by radio personality Miss Kitty, resident judges are fashion designer Balla Shawn and stylish publicist and author, Alykhat. Celebrity guest judges included Instagram model and entrepreneur Shanice “Shanzi” Allen, designer Carlton Brown, and Campari Billboard beauty Kim Goodall.

Dancehall veteran Beenie Man is the celebrity guest judge for the grand finals.

The Campari Pop Style party series made stops in Kingston, May Pen, and Montego Bay. The winners from those rounds are: Kingston — Sulliman Brown, also known as Fashion Barber, and Tia Franklin, also known as Tia Clothes Girl; May Pen — Lucien “C-Jay” McIntosh and Vanessa DaCosta; and Montego Bay — Nino Brown and Shannon Dixon.

Nadia Kiffin-Green, marketing manager at J Wray and Nephew Limited, spoke about the success of the series.

“When we thought about developing the Campari Pop Style series, we had no idea that the support would’ve been this phenomenal. Patrons have come out all dressed up with so many different things using branding material to make their clothing, putting lights in their dresses. We can only expect bigger and better at the grand final. We’re expecting persons to come better than before.”

The six regional winners won cash prizes of $75,000 each. They will go up against the two most stylish found at the finale event, who will be chosen at midnight by the judges, and the two most stylish wildcards chosen by the resident judges.

The wild cards, Shaieem Dwyer and Tony Krash, were chosen from the pool of contestants who did not win in the three lead-up Pop Style events to the finale.

The 10 finalists, five men and five women, must out-style their competition to be named Most Stylish Male and Most Stylish Female in Jamaica for a chance to win $250,000 cash.

Beenie Man will also perform at the final, which will also feature energetic music throughout the night courtesy of DJ Kurt Riley. Patrons can enjoy Campari drink specials.

Sulliman Brown, the male winner from the Kingston round, explained how he plans to step up his style at the final.

“I am going to believe in myself, and go for it,” he told Jamaica Observer.

Vanessa DaCosta, female winner from May Pen, plans on bringing her A game to the final. “Conservative, but trendy. I will be putting together a complete look from everyday pieces found in my closet to show that you don’t have to spend a lot of money or have a designer to pop style,” she shared.

Tony Krash, the wild card chosen by judge Alykhat, is happy to have been brought back for the final.

“I was elated when I got the news I was back in the competition as Aykhat’s wild card. I was very disappointed when I didn’t win in Kingston and hoped for an intervention, so I am very excited to be in the finals. I plan to be myself — stylish and elegant. I design my own clothes and I plan to design something special for the finals using the Campari colours. I want to put out my best,” he said.
