HERBERT MORRISON, St James — Defending champions Herbert Morrison Technical and former winners Cornwall College will be seeking double wins today when they take on York Castle High and Holland, respectively, as the ISSA Western Conference boys’ basketball competition continues.

Herbert Morrison Technical and Cornwall College will hope for improved weather after their games at Herbert Morrison were washed out on Monday with the home team leading after three quarters in the Under-16 game.

Meanwhile, games set for tomorrow have been postponed to allow the students to attend a clinic put on by American coaches as part of the Jamaica Classic NCAA basketball tournament that starts at the Montego Bay Conference Centre today.

On Wednesday, former champions Muschett High split their double-header at Rhodes Hall High, beating Green Pond High in the senior section, but losing to the home team in the junior section.

Muschett’s win in the Under-19 section took them to nine points from four wins and a loss, tied with York Castle behind defending champions Herbert Morrison Technical and Cornwall College, who are tied on 10 points each. Holland High and Green Pond tied on five points each.

Cornwall College lead the Under-16 section with 12 points from six wins, two points more than Rhodes Hall and York, Castle on 10 each, with defending champions Herbert Morrison, who have won their four games, on eight points.
