Monday Social

IT was to be a whirlwind tour for the half-Jamaican MasterChef Junior 2017 Champion Jasmine Stewart and her family who jetted into The Rock from Atlanta, Georgia, Thursday last. Following a restful evening at their Spanish Court Hotel accommodations in New Kingston it was then off to Beechwood Avenue Friday morning for the 2017 launch of the Applaud It! mentorship brunch series at the Jamaica Observer’s HQ, where the culinary wunderkind was guest of honour. Monday Social has highlights from Stewart’s airport arrival to her boardroom date with Sagicor Foundation GSAT scholars and their preparatory school peers, chaperoned by corporate Jamaica executives, for the Celeste Gordon and Siri Saunders-catered five-course fare.
