Davina shows love to the Observer

KINGSTON Jamaica — Miss Universe Jamaica Davina Bennett gushed as she caught a glimpse of the cover of today’s issue of the Jamaica Observer.

On seeing the headline “Like a Bolt Victory’ the chocolate-skinned beauty beamed during a welcome home reception at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston this morning.

“Oh My God! And they went to Mitchell Town… watch Jennie and Auntie Blackie!” she gasped as she frantically leafed through to find the accompany stories.

“Look at my aunts and people from my community… this is amazing,” Bennett added.

On Sunday Bennett, sporting her trademark afro, became only the second Jamaican beauty to make it to the top three of the Miss Universe after she finished in third spot from a field of 92 contestants.

An excited Bennett is flanked by franchise holder Kalr Williams and culture minister Olivia “Babsy” Grange.
