PNP councillor caretaker, son murdered in Clarendon
CLARENDON, Jamaica — The May Pen police are currently investigating the circumstances leading to the murder of 44-year-old, Carol Eubanks-Myles and her 21-year-old son, Jehvon Myles, who were attacked at their home on Paisley Avenue in Clarendon yesterday morning.
According to police, Eubanks-Myles, who was a People’s National Party’s (PNP’s) councillor-caretaker for the May Pen North Division, was in her grocery shop when she was pounced upon by armed men who opened gunfire at her around 11:30 am.
After hearing her cries for help, her son reportedly went to assist when he was also shot. The two succumbed to their injuries.
The police were summoned and upon their arrival, the scene was processed and the bodies removed to the morgue.
