New mobile app offers shoppers discounts, rewards

A new mobile app offering discounts and rewards in the form of digital currency is now available to consumers.

The app, named Buckit, is the brainchild of Dominic Allen, CEO for CTRL-IT, a company that provides IT consulting, implementation and managed services geared to the public and private sectors.

“With more than 1,400 top retail partners available, Buckit allows consumers to access discounts starting from 30 per cent and higher on anything and everything, including :vacation, dining, groceries, gas, household items and appliances, technology, cosmetics to even a haircut. And as people’slives become increasingly digital, Buckit is primed to become the leading mobile app rewards solutions to help people save,” a news release from CTRI-IT’s publicist explained.

“Everyone loves and deserves a good deal, and that’s what Buckit is delivering. Best of all, we’re meeting consumers right where they are — on their mobile phone; which means they’re always just one click away from their next treat or their next adventure with awesome discounts,” the release quotes Allen.

The company said that the mobile app is also able to use consumer trends and patterns to provide its retail partners with valuable insights needed to segment consumers and target offers and programmes for a higher likelihood of sales and repeat behaviour.

“To get the app, consumers can simply download it from the app store on their mobile phones, then create their account and enjoy awesome deals and savings,” the company added.
