R.I.P Ian Boyne. You came, you saw, you contributed and have left an indelible mark. The Sunday Gleaner will never be the same! Yours was a life filled with achievements, love and hearty laughter! – Clyde Williams

We have lost one of the most intelligent critical thinking well written and expressive persons in Jamaica today. There is so much I learnt from Ian Boyne without ever meeting this man. True definition of greatness…may his soul RIP. – Lerone Laing

RIP Ian Boyne, a media giant. Your legacy will forever be with us. –Kalilah Reynolds

Jamaica has lost a Cornerstone. Rem as a child I would rather watch a action show vs listen bag a talking when Profile on air. But later I grew to appreciate what Ian and the show was about, his weekly column became essential reading. Respect for the contribution. SIP Ian Boyne – Ernie Dark

With his impact in media and journalism from before mi born, I believe the late Ian Boyne deserve the right to a funeral that any former late Prime Minister received. – Karl McGrath
