Gas prices down $0.27, diesel up $0.02
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline and a decrease in the price of diesel, effective Thursday, January 11, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $120.77 and $123.61 per litre, respectively, down by $0.27 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $122.50 per litre following an increase of $0.20, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is down by $0.05, and will be sold for $127.06 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene increased in price by $1.01 and will be sold for $104.12 per litre. Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $48.83 per litre, down by $1.16 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $49.96 per litre after a decrease of $3.32.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
