A study, which is being undertaken by Jamaicans For Justice (JFJ), is looking at 16,000 critical incidents, including physical abuse, suicidal activities such as self-harm, accidental injuries, health emergencies that have been recorded in residential childcare facilities across the island.
Private-owned security company, King Alarm today said that members of its security team who were involved in an incident, which was video recorded, have been pulled from duty pending investigation by the company and the police.
