Court freezes attorney-at-law Messado’s assets
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Court has frozen over $28 million in assets belonging to embattled attorney-at-law, Jennifer Messado until July 26
.
In a document dated July 18, the court said Messado was not allowed to spend more than $150,000 per month on ordinary business expenses from her current accounts or any other accounts in her name.
The accused attorney, who is currently out on bail, is before the court on several charges of forgery, uttering forged documents and attempting to obtain money by means of forged documents.
