Flash Flood Warning discontinued for eastern parishes, St Andrew
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological (Met) Service of Jamaica has discontinued the Flash Flood Watch it issued earlier today for low-lying and flood-prone areas of St Mary, Portland, St Thomas and Kingston and St Andrew.
“Satellite imagery and rainfall data indicated a decrease in showers across eastern parishes today. The forecast is for weather conditions to return to normal as the atmosphere becomes more stable,” said the Met Service, while adding that it will continue to monitor the situation.
