Constant Spring Road pipeline break affects Corporate Area water supply
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The National Water Commission (NWC) says that it has been forced to shut down operations at the Constant Spring Water Treatment Plant,as a result of damage to its pipeline due to current road expansion works in the Hillman Road vicinity.
Areas affected include Valentine Garden, Red Hills Road, Molynes Road, Constant Spring Road, Havendale, Half Way Tree, Lady Musgrave, Whitehall Gardens, Eastwood Park Gardens, Hughenden, Manor Park, Shortwood, Cross Roads, Manor Park, Camperdown, Manning’s Hill Road, Arlene Gardens, Roehampton, Calabar Mews, Zaidie Gardens, State Gardens and Washington Boulevard.
The NWC is estimating that regular service will be restored on or before 5:00 pm today.
