Kevin Smith says Sorry
Gospel singer Kevin Smith has confessed the sins he has committed in his life. He has asked the Lord to forgive him so that he can live a life that’s in keeping with God’s words. The senario forms the basis of the singer’s latest single Sorry .
Sorry was produced by Team Works Production.
“The inspiration behind the music is simply what the song is saying. I developed a love for the Lord because of what He has done for me. When I deserved judgement, He has given me His love. I sinned against him over and over again, but He still stretched His arms out and forgave me seventy times seven,” said Smith.
The video for Sorry is to be released on September 10. Directed by Bloozick Media, the video was shot in Jamaica as well as in Costa Rica.
Smith, who is originally from Portland, now resides in Portmore, St Catherine. He has been on the gospel music scene for about 10 years.
Among his better-known songs are Tell Jah, Don’t Sell Your Soul and Close to You.
Smith is scheduled to release a mixtape next month. Plans for the staging of his A Better Tomorrow gospel event, scheduled for November in Vere, Clarendon, are already at an advanced stage.
