Gas prices up $1.63, diesel up $1.52
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline and diesel, effective Thursday, September 27, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from PetroJam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $140.04 and $142.89 per litre, respectively, up by $1.63 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $141.77 per litre following an increase of $1.52 while ultra-low sulphur diesel is up by $1.40 and will be sold for $145.99 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene increased in price by $0.50 and will be sold for $122.81 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $58.16 per litre, down by $0.91 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $65.06 per litre after a decrease of $0.20.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices
