Gas prices up $1.98, diesel up $3.15
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline and diesel, effective Thursday, October 4, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from PetroJam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $142.02 and $144.86 per litre, respectively, up by $1.98
each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $144.92 per litre following an increase of $3.15 while ultra-low sulphur diesel is up by $2.83
and will be sold for $148.82 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene increased in price by $2.52
and will be sold for $125.32 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $58.08 per litre, down by $0.08 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $66.25 per litre after an increase of $1.19

Movements in Petrojam’s product prices are reflective of changes in the prices of the relevant petroleum products within the US Gulf Coast (USGC) region.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
